To Our Friends and Colleagues:
News About the 2013 Fall Retreat
This year the Fall Retreat will consist of one workshop only, regarding Adaptive Optics for Medical Microscopy, led by UCSC Professor of Enginering Joel Kubby. The workshop will be held at UC Santa Cruz.
Unfortunately, due to budget limitations affecting us this year, we were not able to hold the general CfAO retreat at the UCLA Center in Lake Arrowhead, where we normally host additional workshops in Astronomy, Vision Science, AO Instrumentation, Education, and Lasers.
Next year however, in Fall 2014, we hope to resume the CfAO retreats in Lake Arrowhead with similar workshop and plenary topics. We will keep you in touch and hope to see you there.
The mission of the UC Center for Adaptive Optics is to develop, apply, and disseminate adaptive optics science and technology in service to scientific research, healthcare, and industry.
