What to Bring to the Workshop

The 2004 CfAO Professional Development Workshop, Connecting Science Education Theory and Practice, will take place May 16 - May 21, 2004 at the Wailea Marriott, an Outrigger Resort.

What to Bring Suggestions:

  • Sun Protection (hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc)
  • Snorkel and Swim Gear
  • Attire: The workshop is very casual. Shorts and a t-shirt would be fine for most of the sessions. The Maui High Tech Industry Education Exchange (poster session) is more casual professional, but it is entirely up to each individual. The final dinner is a festive event, so bring your best luau outfit. For around the hotel, the Maui Outrigger is an upscale but casual resort.
  • If you are going to Haleakala bring WARM CLOTHES and your PICTURE ID!
