Facilitating Learners Engaged in Inquiry

Facilitating Learners Engaged in Inquiry:
This workshop will be offered in May 2008, and prepares PDP participants for their coming teaching experience. Workshops will be offered in Hawaii and California based locations.

This workshop includes:

  • Preparing to Facilitate Learning by Inquiry: Participants “role play” a series of scenarios commonly faced in teaching through inquiry. After role-playing, participants discuss strategies and tools for helping learners come to their own understanding about their own questions, and how to maintain productive social interactions.
