Akamai Internship Programs

For Hawaii Students —
college & university students from Hawaii (but studying anywhere), or students at Hawaii colleges & universities

To apply to either the Big Island or Maui Akamai internships, use our online application process. The deadline is February 14, 2009.

Go here for the online application

If you have problems or questions about the application process, please contact Lani LeBron.

To complete your application you will need:

  • Science, math, or engineering professors or teachers, or others, to write you a strong letter of recommendation
  • Transcripts
  • Specific interests that will help us determine how you might match into the program. What kinds of past Akamai Internship projects do you find interesting, and why — browse the past intern profiles and presentations
  • Some specific thoughts on why you want to be an intern — what skills and experiences do you have, and what skills and experiences would you like to gain?
